JOB PERFORMANCE

The Job Performance module allows the project manager to update the work in progress (or percent complete) on the job. It allows the user to analyze and perform hypothetical scenarios and gauge revised profitability. This module includes an interface to the Progress/AIA billings that are setup in the accounting system so they can update the current billing application. The billings screen provides the project manager with cost based performance to use as an indicator when deciding what to bill the customer.

JOB ANALYSIS

The Job Analysis module allows project managers to view jobs by work type, customer, contract, superintendent, engineer and many other types including or with user definable categories. This shows the project manager which types of work are most profitable, or which superintendent works best with which type of work. All sections include standard and analytical reports with graphing capabilities. The screen columns are adjustable for each user. This module allows project managers to analyze and compare jobs based on user definable criteria such as contract type, owner class and work types, to name a few.

JOB DOCUMENTATION

The Job Documentation module allows the project manager to keep track of RFIs, RFPs, change proposals and change orders for both owners/customers and subcontractors. This module is fully integrated with Subcontracts, Prime Contracts and PowerNotes modules. StarProject also keeps a database of contacts for the job. These contacts are fully integrated with the documentation and task management sections. Through this section, project managers can create job specific documents and track individual documents by user, merge existing documents or create new ones in Microsoft Word that can easily integrate with the StarProject document section.

JOB COST INQUIRY/DETAILED DRILLDOWNS/SPECIALIZED REPORTS

The Job Inquiry module delivers the capability to drill down on the status of the project to the transaction level using the Job Summary screen. This module gives the contractor point & click access to their job information at an overview level with drill down capabilities, providing instant and current Job Cost, Projected Cost, and Profitability.
